i'd much appreciate if anyone could tell me how to insert line numbers in a word document, I have windows vista.

On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Layout tab.


In the Apply to box, click Whole document.


Click Line Numbers.


Select the Add line numbering check box, and then select the options you want.


What is the option Word (vista) to insert line numbers in a document?
none. just starting typing the numbering you want and whenever you press ENTER word will autoindent your paragraphs.
