My sister was flying and when she turned on her phone, all her contacts and calendars were gone. Is there a way to restore these or does any know why it happened?I turned off my phone and lost all of my numbers/calendar?

Wow that sucks! No if their gone you can't get them back. Not unless she has them saved to a memory card. But besides that no.
