Is having plate numbers on motorcycle helmet able to lessen crimes?

many varied crimes have been going on here in the p......republic committed by persons on motorbikes, most have their face covered by their helmets,others ride in tandem, and the bike number is tampered..Well, sad to say, the law here is ';seasonal',law is not strictly enforced all the time and one could see bikers with no plates available indicated and riders wearing no helmets. Maddening is, some law enforcers just practice that too.Is having numbers on helmet to ID's the riders a viable solution to lessen crimes? The local ordinance did tried to enforce it but the bikers association in thousands boycotted against it.Is having plate numbers on motorcycle helmet able to lessen crimes?
I think you are onto something, but at the same time.. the theft of helmets would go up.





The bottom line is that when someone wants to break the law they will. Heck, they will just not wear a helmet and take off there license plate.
