Do you get excited when a player that has a supporting role on a team puts up fantastic numbers?

He's not a star player. And has a tremendous shooting percentage like 11 of 15. Plays like a superstar and he isn't. Do you have a recent example?Do you get excited when a player that has a supporting role on a team puts up fantastic numbers?
Hell yeah cuz it shows potential recent example was yesterday Ronny Turiaf with 23 points and 9 boards GO LAKERS!Do you get excited when a player that has a supporting role on a team puts up fantastic numbers?
yes
andrew bynum, who is still young, but has had some great game putting up amazing numbers
It depends on if you think Kirk Hinrich is a star. He has a consistent shooting percentage and is always a team player. Though his assist totals needs to go up, and when they do, watch out for another Steve Nash
No one shoots 11 of 15 consistently every night. That would be a record for highest field goal percentage.

Some names come to mind... Eddie Griffin (everything but points) for Minnesota, I bet Marcus Williams (Nets) will be on this list as well as Rajon Rondo for the Celts. David Lee for my Knicks might make the list this season.
I won't say exactly recent, but Earl Boykins of the Denver Nuggets.....look at his size, look at his skill, he's not ';star'; material, but consistently puts up numbers all over the board.....if you don't know of him, check him out.....
yes, i was really excited about Leandro barbosa, Hinrich, Ronny Turiaf, etc. its good to see some derivation from monotony
